FLOWERY CHARACTERS — THE VERBS

CHINESE VERBS

When you learn Spanish, you have to learn over five hundred irregular verbs.

When you learn English, you have to learn 182 irregular verbs.

When you learn Chinese, you have no irregular verbs to learn; all Chinese verbs are regular.

When learning Flowery characters or Chinese characters, in ten minute, a beginner is able to recognise 1,000 (one thousand) verbs and can also understand part of their meanings.  FLOWERY CHARACTERS – THE VERBS proves that this statement is 100% true.

If you think this book is misleading, you have to prove that one thousand verbs listed in this book are not verbs and their meanings are not the action of hand, then you will get ten thousand US dollars award.

FLOWERY CHARACTERS — THE VERBS  proves:

  1. In ten minutes of learning, a beginner can recognize one thousand verbs and can also partly understand their meanings.
  2. The Chinese verbs are regular, not inflected and there are no irregular verbs.
  3. The meaning of each verb is conveyed in each character. Eight hundred verbs are detailed. The meanings of 16,851 compound characters can be partly understood. And a beginner can pronounce 1,110 new characters, without further learning.
  4. Each character or each verb is detailed clearly. Explain how each character was formed, how its pronunciation derived and how its meaning was expressed.
  5. Its formation helps to memorise its meaning.
  6. Its formation is logical.

FLOWERY CHARACTERS  華 文 (概說)

CHINESE CHARACTERS

What is the hard matter, when you learn Chinese characters?

Is it hard to remember the form of Chinese characters?

Is it hard to write?

Is it taken too long time to learn?

The structures of Chinese characters are they not logical?

Learn how to speak Chinese language and how to write Chinese characters are two different subjects.

Learn to speak Chinese only, then you will be a Chinese illiterate.

You can learn Chinese characters in your language (not 100%), just like the Japanese, the Korean or the Vietnamese who read Chinese characters in their language. They need not to speak Dazhongyu大众语(=Madarine=Chinese=Putonghua=Huayu=Guanhua=Dazhonghua大众话)

eg. 我学华文。In English, you can pronounce “I learn Chinese characters”.

Why The Chinese write like that? Two thousand year ago, the Chinese already knew of the alphabetic “abc” systembut they didn’t use it. Are they stupid?

Why character 我 stands for the words “I”, “me”?

Why character 学 conveys the meaning to learn?

Why character 華 means beauty, beautiful?

Why character 文 means character?

Let me know how can I help you to make it easy for you, to shorten your learning task.

In ten minutes of learning, a beginner is able to pronounce 20 new Chinese charactes. Do  you believe? I can only tell you, when you want to learn.

Prof. Bernhard Kargen: “The old theory, which classified Chinese as a ‘primitive’ language, not yet raised to the inflectional status, is the opposite of the truth. Chinese, in fact, has followed exactly the same line of evolution as the Indo-European languages….

English is perharps in this respect the most highly developed Indo-European language, but Chinese has progressed much further….

The literature of China is, as we have stated, an Esperanto, but be it observed, exclusively a written one, and in this respect it is surely unique…” (Sound and Symbol in Chinese, London, Oxford University Press, Humphrey Milford, p.25-41)

The Mayor of Gisborne, Mr. Meng Foon, JP: “I learnt to pronounce 20 Chinese words in 5 minutes; I was fascinated with the stories that each character told.”

Esther Burnie: “I am surprised at how fast I could pick up the Flowery Characters and how easy it was to learn my first few words in Chinese. I come from Switzerland originally and learning English was not that easy.”

“I am able to speak and write four different languages, namely, English, Tamil, Sinhala and Arabic. This is the first time  that I was able to learn and remember 21 characters in just six minutes. MOHAMED C.A. HASSAN

UMBERTO ECO: “Chinese might be the language of Adam…Chinese was offered as a model for an international language….Chinese writing was considered perfect in so far as with ideograms every element on the exoression-plane corresponded to a semantic unit on the content-plane….(The Search For The Perfect Language, Fontana Press, 1995/1997, p.158-161)

These pages below will prove how does it take to learn to pronounce twenty new compound chinese characters.

Please record the time before you continue to read.  Now it is ………..o’clock…………..minutes.

Before you read this article, please record the time. It is …………..o’clock…………..minutes.

When you see any Chinese character in this pattern:  扌x

eg. 找  招  打 扒 扎 扔 捍 扣 托 扛 扦 扭 扮 拌 扳 扶  批 指 扼 找 抄 掘 抉 把 …

You can say these characters are verbs and their meanings relate to the movement of hand. You are almost 100% right. The Hanyu Da Zidian dictionary has 1,367 characters in this pattern.

What is the time now? It is ……..o’clock……….minutes.

Just in a matter of minutes, you learn only one character  扌which stands for hand and one pattern. And then you can recognize over one thousand of Chinese verbs. Among them, a few hundred verbs are frequently in use.

 CHINESE CHARACTERS ABC or “ccabc

In 10 minutes of learning, a beginer is able to recognize 1,000 Chinese verbs or is able to distinguish 2,000 Chinese nouns and can also to understand part of their meanings. Mr. Meng Foon, Mayor of Gisborne: “I learned to pronounce 20 Chinese words in 5 minutes; I was fascinated with the stories that each character told.” Columnist Marilyn Gardiner: “It is quite true to say, one can learn the principal for 1000 words (Chinese verbs) in a matter of minutes.” Former Mayor of Rotorua, Mr. G.  Hi Blogtowners,

You’re welcome with my warmest greeting. I’m a newcomer to blogtown. I’m trying to build a good and useful blog. I’m a Chiwi. I own a great debt to Kiwis who have helped my family to setting down in this beautiful Aotearoa for more than 29 years. Say ” THANKS” is not enough. I would like to offer my knowlege to the Kiwis who want to learn Chinese characters and to understand Chinese culture.

A lot of people thought Chinese characters are hard to learn, so China has been underdeveloped. It is not true. Two thousand year ago, seventy thousand Hanren (Chinese) chevaliers chased their enemies, the Fire-dog 狄, to the shores of the Caspian sea. They knew of the Roman Empire and of the Latin language. They did not adopt the alphabetical system for their writing system. It was very lucky to Chinese culture. Today, the Chinese middle school students and the average people can understand their two thousand year old lyrics and literatures.  While the Latin language is dead and English high school teachers rarely understand their one thousand year Old English Text.
